- In detail
Heat Stable alpha-Amylase Liquid has excellent heat resistance and adaptability under lower pH and calcium ion consistency. It is applied broadly for liquefaction in the industry of fuel ethanol, distillery, beer, starch, monosodium glutamate, organic acid fermentation and textile desizing.
SPECIFICATIONS
Appearance: Light Brown Liquid
Density: 1.20g/mL
Activity: 30,000u/mL; 40,000u/mL (standard GB 8205-2009)
DEFINITION OF UNIT
1 unit of Heat Stable alpha-Amylase Liquid equals to the amount of enzyme which liquefies 1mg of soluble starch to dextrin at 70°C and pH6.0 in 1 min.
FUNCTION CONDITIONS
pH 5.5-9.0, optimum 5.8-7.0; Temperature 80-110°C, favorable at 95-105°C.
FUNCTION PRINCIPLE
It rapidly and randomly hydrolyzes terminal 1,4 α-D-glucose bonds of the starch chains with release of mainly dextrin and little glucose and maltose, so as to reduce the viscosity and liquefy the starch.
DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION
0.24-0.64kg of Heat Stable alpha-Amylase Liquid (30,000u/mL) per ton of starch or related material.
EXPIRATION
25°C, 6 months, activity remains 90; 9 months, activity remains ≥85%.
Samples are available upon request.
